The Basic Wound Care Course, was held virtually in April, and is still open to health care providers, educators and students of all medical backgrounds who desire a comprehensive overview of the major components of wound assessment, wound treatment and medical conditions often associated with wounds. The course includes 10 topic-specific lectures given by local wound care experts and 5 interactive, hands-on learning modules. The course also features vendors showcasing their latest wound-care related products and services. There are 8.75 hours of lectures/demonstrations available. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM as well as ANCC contact hours through Amedco, LLC, and the course meets the standards for PT & OT continuing education by Oregon and Washington licensing boards. See full on this page in the Accreditation block. Please note that the course is scheduled for two, half days, each beginning at 7:50 am and ending by 1:00 pm. The dates are Saturday, April 24th, and Sunday, April 25th. This will allow for less "screen time" in one day! We hope you can join us for this excellent, educational, wound care event!
