BWCC - Basic Wound Care Course

This Basic Wound Care Course for Health Care Students is designed for students studying to become nurses, doctors, occupational therapists and physical therapists, who desire a comprehensive overview of the major components of wound assessment, wound treatment and medical conditions often associated with wounds. The course will provide pre-course learning information and 4 hours of hands-on workshops.

Pre-Course videos and readings will be made available for students by January 10th to prepare for workshops.

4 hours of Hands-on Learning workshops will include:

  • Wound Hygiene
  • Wound Assessment
  • Wound Dressings
  • Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT)
