Basic Wound Care Course is open to health care providers and educators of all medical backgrounds who desire a comprehensive overview of the major components of wound assessment, wound treatment and medical conditions often associated with wounds. The course includes 6 topic-specific lectures given by local wound care experts and 4 interactive, hands-on learning workshops. The course also features vendors showcasing their latest wound-care related products and services. There are 7 hours total for the day of lectures/demonstrations available. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM  as well as ANCC contact hours through Amedco, LLC, see full details on this page in the Accreditation block. The program also meets requirements for PT and OT educational credit by Oregon and Washington licensing boards.

Continental breakfast and boxed lunch are included in the registration fees.
